Aaron Copland – Saturday Night Waltz (from “Rodeo”) (1942)

This is a beautiful piece of music from the ballet “Rodeo”. There is a full orchestral version but I have always loved the minimalist version for two pianos.

A quick trawl of Youtube turned up this wonderful version. From 2 mins 11 secs in, the music becomes sublime.
