Norma Jean Wright – I Like Love (1978)

Norma Jean Wright was the origjnal vocalist in Chic but left in 1978 to pursue a solo career. Her “Norma Jean” LP of 1978 is another classic Bernard Edwards and Nile Rodgers production. For any fans of the music of Chic and Sister Sledge, this is right up there with the perfection of “Lost in Music”, “Thinking of You”, “Good Times” and “Le Freak”. The guitar solo that kicks in at 3:05 and then just builds and builds is a work of genius and when the bass rejoins …. disco heaven is reached.

Pretty difficult to track down on CD or MP3 but worth the hunt!
