The Who – So Sad About Us (1966)

Wonderful album track from A Quick One released in 1966. Later covered by The Jam on the B side of Down in the Tube Station at Midnight and then by the Breeders  Original single release was by the Merseys after Pete Townshend leant them a demo (apparently). As always, fantastic bass playing by John Entwistle.

LP version followed by superb live footage from the Marquee in 1967.
