Talking Heads – Heaven (1979)

I just love Talking Heads.

I could have chosen a dozen or more of their songs and, in due course, will do so. So, Listening Wind, Once in a Lifetime, Road to Nowhere, Life During Wartime, Psycho Killer, etc, will eventually appear. But, tonight, let’s stick to Heaven. From the wonderful, Brian Eno produced LP Fear of Music from 1979. I give you two versions. The original album version and the live version from the definitive concert film Stop Making Sense. David Byrne played this on his solo tour in 2009 but all the Youtube footage is too tinny to bother with!
