Sister Sledge – Thinking of You (1979)

Yet another post featuring the peerless Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards.

Thanks to global warming, summer has already arrived and this record is the soundtrack.

Chic, Sister Sledge, etc, the bass and guitar combination goes on. I’ve tried to play this over the years – Gm7, Dm7, E flat major, B flat maj 7 (chorus then is E flat maj 7, B flat maj 7). Never even got close! Perfect record.
