Wedding Present – Brassneck (1989)

Following my last post of a few minutes ago which involved the words “Royal” and “Party” as devilishly clever subliminal references to tomorrow’s events at Westminster Abbey, I have been, literally, buried in “tweets”, “instant messages”, “likes” and, err, telegrams.

So, on a roll, I thought I would select another track with a title that, with a bit of goodwill, could be seen as tangentially related to the “Royal Wedding” tomorrow. So here you go, my favourite track by the Wedding Present – taken from the classic Bizarro LP from 1989. “Brassneck” is of course the connection with tomorrow’s events.

LP version then live from a few years ago. Ma’am.

Ha! Have you tried the ‘struggling like an upturned beetle after attempting a guitar knee slide to Creedence Clearwater’ yet? Groan to ageing legs!

    Yup!

My legal advisers were turned down by Bill Gates becasue they were too expensive … we’ve got all the idiosyncratic dance bases covered!
