Kate Bush – Cloudbusting (1985)

After my, frankly, unsuccessful attempts to capture the recent evolution of Australian music in my last three posts, I feel honour bound to turn my attention to the Northern hemisphere and the UK motherlode. A very good friend of mine has noted the conspicuous absence of Kate Bush from this blog and I just have to correct this oversight. 

What better way to do this than to alight on “Cloudbusting” by Ms Bush.

On its own, a work of genius; as part of the Hounds of Love LP, truly an era defining piece – how can you not like this?

Imagine anything this good now ….
