Billy Bragg – Levi Stubbs’ Tears (1986)

Quite simply one of the best records ever made.

Pop pickers will appreciate the clumsy segue from the last post by the Stones -  “Just My Imagination” was written by Norman Whitfield and Barrett Strong who get a mention by Billy Bragg because they also wrote most of the classic Four Tops tunes, all of which were sung by Levi Stubbs ….. tenuous or what?
