The One – Baby Don’t Talk (1996)
Following many years in the wilderness, Peter Perrett, leading light of The Only Ones (check here for the unsurpassed Another Girl, Another Planet), resurfaced with an EP of demos in 1996. Many subsequently appeared on the “Woke Up Sticky”LP but this original version of “Baby Don’t Talk” was never bettered.
Understated electric guitar, classic Perrett mannered vocals and, the key to all musical success, an accordion …..
Difficult to track down but a classic record.
