Paska – Ace of Spades (1989)

Possibly the greatest cover version in history?  Taken from the, as far as I am concerned, irony free “Super Double Megamaxihits!” debut single.

Wikipedia describes Paska thus:

“Paska is a Finnish one-man a cappella rock band formed in 1984. Paska is a Finnish word for feces, usually translated as “shit”. The band was named such because the idea of the band was to prove that anybody can make music, no matter how “paska” (crappy) he or she happens to be.”

Phenomenal performance recorded from the John Peel show. John Peel’s assessment at the end is nearly as good as the, ahem, song.
