Nile Rodgers is my all time favourite guitarist.

All his work with Chic and also with his many other productions (Sister Sledge (here), Norma Jean Wright (here), Sheila B Devotion, Diana Ross, Debbie Harry) are some of my favourite records of all time.

“I Want Your Love” appears on Chic’s classic second LP “C’est Chic” released in 1978.

The guitar on this is utterly relentless – from 4:33 onwards, rhythm guitar heaven breaks out!

Currently reading Nile Rodgers’ autobiography – a superb book.
