About this Blog

This blog is going to be a labour of love.

Over the years. I’ve stumbled across many songs and pieces of music that have changed my life.

I am going to use this blog to share what I regard as being the greatest music of all time.

From Bach to Basic Channel via The Beatles and The Beastie Boys!

I try and fix and broken links on an occasional basis – if you spot one, please comment on the post and I will mend it!

To see a list of all the songs with a simple link to each one, check out “All Songs Listed Here”!!

      Hi Di,

Err, no idea. I need to check the settings, etc to see if there is an option. There are around two dozen menus of settings behind all this!

I sometimes wonder how I survived so long without knowing about The Clash, The Doors, Fatal Flowers and Richard Hell.

The title of this blog alone made me grin. Then the remarkable Manc-of-a-certain-era-centric-ness.

I’m going to assume you tried, then dismissed, Low. Not Manc. Not even near. But if not, then Things We Lost In The Fire might be worth a shot.
